This Lunch and Learn will discuss the violent erasure from both physical space and American history of the more than dozens of thriving Black American towns including, Seneca Village (Central Park), Greenwood District Tulsa, & Oscarville Georgia (Lake Lanier). We'll also discuss how systemic racism and gentrification play a role in dismantling Black communities.
