Meet Kacheena Naytowhow

Indigenous Culture Speaker

Kacheena Naytowhow (she/her) is plains Cree. Her mom is from Cowessess First Nation and her dad is from Sturgeon Lake First Nation, both reserves are in Saskatchewan Canada. She was raised to walk in two worlds, one as an Indigenous woman coming from intergenerational trauma due to her people being subjugated into residential schools for 100 plus years. She was also blessed to come from a family who fought for their identity and culture and taught her that education is how we will now provide for our people and change perspectives of Indigenous people in Canada. One generation at a time.

Kacheena has a bachelor’s in Business Administration and is currently finishing her masters in Business Administration with a focus on Indigenous leadership and business. She is also an active advocate in the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Woman and Girls crisis in Canada.
