Meet Guishard Revan

DEI Speaker

Guishard Revan (he/him) is a community builder, storyteller, wordsmith and DEI strategist. His life's mission is to create work environments where employees feel not only that they matter, but also that they belong. Through his writing and thought leadership, he shines a spotlight on the subtle inequities that can have major impacts in order to make others feel seen, foster conversation, and build empathy. He believes personal stories, DEI strategy, and the power of words can build understanding across differences.

Professionally, Guishard is an HR and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion professional with over 7 years of experience in employee engagement, organizational effectiveness and program management. Currently, he is the Global Diversity & Inclusion Manager of the travel tech company, Expedia Group. In this role, he works closely with Business and ERG leaders to influence Expedia Group’s culture and foster global and local engagement and inclusivity.

This Brooklyn native is a published poet, avid writer, and a lover of Button Poetry spoken word performances. He is also always on the quest for the best indoor basketball courts for new competition and to keep in shape during the brutal winter months of NYC. When not writing his next poem or driving to the lane for a layup on a nearby basketball court, you can likely find him in the comfort of his Jersey City apartment, watching the newest film or TV show and looking for all the hidden meanings or metaphors (even if there aren’t any to find).
