Meet Aaron Fung

Diversity & Inclusion Speaker

Aaron Fung (he/him) is an Inclusion and Diversity Business Partner at Pinterest, where he counsels business leaders on talent strategy issues with a inclusion lens. Previously Aaron held HR consulting and tech sales roles at SAP SuccessFactors and LinkedIn, management consulting roles at Slalom and Deloitte Consulting's human capital practice. Early in his career, he worked in sales and learning roles in financial services and nonprofit organizations. He received his MBA with a concentration in Human and Organizational Performance from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management (where he was an Ingram Scholar and received the Owen Service Award) and a BA in Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound.

Outside of work, Aaron spends his time running a career coaching business called CoachingAF (where he helps millennial and gen X professionals find career clarity), writing for his travel blog called "Go See the World" (in which he chronicles his quest to visit 100 countries by his 45th birthday), and serving the co-president of the Midwest chapter of Ascend (a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing pan-Asian business leaders in corporate America and Canada).

A second-generation Chinese American who was born and raised in San Francisco, Aaron now lives in Wilmette, IL (a northern suburb of Chicago) with his wife Caitlin and their 3 year-old son Cooper, 8 month-old daughter Clementine, and their three-legged dog Abbott.
